These trousers are inspired by women's clothing, circa 1850s-1890s. This is a historical reproduction of a motif found on an Indian skirt. The original was made using a hook work embroidery technique used in the Gujarat region of India. The silhouette is that of a traditional trouser - high rise, straight leg.
