Big Reel Feedsack Shirt

This long sleeve Havana shirt is made from a Great Depression era feed sack. During the 1920's, feed sacks began incorporating prints onto their cotton feed sacks, advertising products on the sacks. By the 1940's there were over 31 textile mills producing these type of feed sacks. This shirt has text and imagery throughout the front and sleeves. Soft-worn cotton with discoloration throughout.
