Sales Associate (New York)

Bode is looking for Sales Associates to join our Hester Street team. Candidates will ideally possess a minimum of one year experience working in luxury retail or hospitality and should be excited about working for the Bode brand.

  • Sales Associates are responsible for achieving sales goals by building and maintaining client relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining visual standards
  • Additionally, Sales Associates must retain and communicate detailed product knowledge, prepare merchandise to be presented on the sales floor, display an energetic and positive attitude, and foster a warm, welcoming environment within the store
  • Must have exceptional communication skills to interact with management, staff, and clients to continue to drive the best results
  • Support business practices that help maximize and drive success within the store
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced luxury store environment
  • Able to work open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be a team player
  • Partner with store management to form a cohesive team focused on creating an energetic, exciting, and approachable shopping environment
  • Possess a strong understanding of sales analytics and key performance indicators

Director of E-Commerce

Bode is looking for a Director of E-commerce to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years experience managing E-commerce operations and strategy for a luxury brand, and should have experience managing developers and working with Shopify Plus.

  • Responsible for developing and executing e-commerce growth strategy, including full digital P&L ownership.
  • Oversees all e-commerce business planning, content strategy and development.
  • Works in collaboration with Creative Team to produce visual assets in accordance with business needs.
  • Develops and implements digital communication calendar to ensure that key business initiatives are supported across e-com, wholesale, and retail channels.
  • Manages the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, editorial campaigns, site design and analytics.
  • Oversees site merchandising & page updates (building home page and landing pages in relation to email cadence and product/release launches).
  • Oversees all e-commerce sales and performance reviews (reviewing and reporting on weekly KPIs).
  • Works with finance to plan out inventory assortment and allocation in accordance to sales targets.


Raw Materials Manager

Bode is looking for a Raw Materials Manager to help oversee the sourcing and development of all fabrics and trims. The ideal candidate must have a minimum 3-5 years experience handling raw materials for a fashion brand. They should demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate with factories and mills, understand how to develop and source the best quality materials, and do so while meeting the cost targets and schedule milestones. Experience in RLM is a plus.

  • Oversee the sourcing of new raw materials and suppliers, including print development, trims, and fabrics.
  • Manage footage samples and follow up on deliveries and collection development.
  • Create and maintain all raw material POs in RLM.
  • Communicate daily with mills on fabric inquiries, fabric lab testing reports, fabric color lab dip approvals, etc.
  • Monitor and maintain fabric orders and reports on global stock position.
  • Oversee all pricing negotiation with suppliers, being mindful of target costing.
  • Maintain master list of fabric and supplier information, including cost information, minimum purchases, and production lead times.
  • Manage the production quality of all fabrics before shipping it to the factories, reviewing any quality issues with production and development.
  • Provide monthly updated reports on inventory and budget, identifying opportunities for cost saving and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain the fabric library to ensure a dynamic and accurate archive.


Design & Development Manager

Bode is looking to hire an experienced Design & Development Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in either men's or women's RTW development and is comfortable working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. A strong understanding of textiles, garment construction, and the development lifecycle is a must.

• Oversee the development lifecycle and process from the beginning of the design process through to the final handover to the production team.
• Collaborate with the design and production teams along with the atelier to achieve the best finished product, on time, and at the optimal cost.
• Coordinate with the design, merch and production teams to ensure all the calendars are aligned and the teams are working collaboratively.
• Define & enforce the seasonal calendar and the development schedule, as well as oversee the calendar for sketches, fittings, prototypes, fabric and trim orders.
• Responsible for sourcing the right vendors based on product specificity, timing, workload and price point., as well as finding new suppliers when a new innovation or technique is requested by the Design Directors.
• Organize fittings with the design team, product developers, and the Atelier.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure the collection will be delivered on time, at the right level of quality and cost.
