A large majority of the collection is made using antique fabrics and materials. All idiosyncrasies, including wear, mending, and stains are part of the story of the fabric and overall garment.
If needed, we can do our best to repair the garment, should there be any egregious issues.
 

Alterations and Repairs

Fit is extremely important to us and an integral part of our brand identity. Thus, we’re happy to provide alterations for all of our garments. Alteration fees are subject to change and will be provided upon request. For all inquiries, please email sales@bodenewyork.com.
Repairs are approved on a case by case basis. If you have a garment that needs additional mending / repairs, please forward your inquiry to sales@bodenewyork.com.
 

Return Policy

If you have received the correct order and are unsatisfied with the fit of them item, we’re happy to accommodate this request within 14 days of receiving. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged, with tags still attached. All items are exchangeable for store credit only. 
The customer is responsible for shipping the item back to our office, and the customer will incur the shipping cost. Once we receive the item, you will be given a store credit of the same price as the returned garment. Store credits are valid for up to one year from the date they were issued. 
We currently do not make exchanges. You will have to go through the return process and order a new product afterwards.
To return an item, please email Sales@bodenewyork.com and include:
    1. Your order number, receipt, and/or proof of purchase.
    2. Name on the order.
    3. Email address on the order.
    4. Your request.
If my items are damaged, defective, or incorrect:

    1. Your order number, receipt, and/or proof of purchase.

    5. A photograph demonstrating the damaged area of the item.
The most optimal pictures are on a flat surface, with the tag and error clearly displayed. We will use this information to best help you with your return, and eliminate errors in the future.

Once your return is authorized and product is received, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
