Desert Wool Souvenir Jacket
This jacket is inspired by a souvenir jacket, circa 1940s. Post WWII, embroidered Mexican souvenir jackets became so popular in the United States that department stores started carrying them and manufacturing them, and home-sewing companies like McCall began selling paper patterns and instructions to make your own. This historical reproduction features cream embroidery and appliqué throughout. No two pieces are exactly alike.
