This one of a kind shirt is made from an antique Quaker Lace tablecloth. The Quaker Lace company began in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania during the turn of the century. The company was known for manufacturing accessible machine-made lace that was even found in the dining rooms of the Eisenhower-era White House. The factory existed for more than 100 years and closed in the early 1990s.
