This workwear jacket is made from a 1940's album–patterned quilt. Album–patterned quilts were very popular in the mid 19th century, and were usually made to commemorate a special event such as a birthday or wedding. The quilt contains bits and pieces of men's shirting, as well as a number of other checked cotton fabrics. The jacket is lined in a pink flannel material.
