This shirt is made from an antique filet lace tablecloth. The netting-style lace has intricate motifs of florals and ornamental garlands needle-woven into the net. This hand-technique became popular in 16th century Italy, and is still widely reproduced today, now by machine. This shirt is one-of-a-kind and can be worn by itself or as a layering piece.
