These fragile costume masks were made from paper in Japan circa 1930s. They were sourced in New England, and each mask is stamped "made in Japan" in blue ink on the inside. No two masks are exactly alike, some have metallic noses and some do not. Please note, due to age some masks are quite distressed around the eyes and mouth. Still intact is the original thin elastic strap to keep on wearer's head; handle with care. Sold individually.
